Brady throws for 5 TDs in the first half? Try 2nd quarter alone.

I don't know about you guys but i didn't expect many Passing touchdowns in Sundays game when the New England Patriots were taking on the Tennessee Titans in a winter wonder land at Gillette stadium. After a quite first quarter, it seemed that way with no touchdowns thrown for either team. But in the 2nd quarter Tom Brady answered the call and delivered a 40 yard bomb to Randy Moss for a touchdown, and from there just didn't look back. Brady topped off the quarter with 4 more touchdowns to break the NFL record of most touchdowns in 1 quarter with 5. Can you say...He's backkkkk. Brady finished the game throwing for 380 yards and 6 touchdowns(tied his previous franchise record) in a 59-0 massacre over the Tennessee Titans.

Dirty Plays 101

So I'm watching the Panthers Bucs game thinking that it could possibly be the most boring game ever, because Jake Delhomme might be one of the worst quarterbacks in the history of the NFL and shouldn't be a starter. And not to mention he is absolutely killing Steve Smiths fantasy value, like come on really? Hes supposed to be an elite Wide Receiver. THROW HIM THE BALL!

I can only imagine how mad the panthers are that the vikings signed Sage "The Dream" Rosenfels in the off season because he would be a much better option at quarterback right now then Delhomme. But enough about that scrub...I see the Panthers were punting the ball(obviously) And I just see Carolinas safety Dante Wesley Drill Buccaneers returner Clifton Smith. I'm thinking wow what a hit...but where was the ball? The ball wasn't even near him, and what makes everything worse, he was calling for a fair catch! This wasn't just a regular tackle. This was a Madden Hit, a you just got jacked up hit, a noway this guy is getting up type of it...It was vicious. You can see the hit here:

Its just gonna be funny to hear this guys explanation, there's noway that he can deny that he didn't see Smiths hand waving in the air. Whatever he says is going to be false. I hope the league sticks it to him with something harsh, and teaches him a lesson. Dante Wesley may of just checked himself into the dirty players column. So what will be the penalty? A fine? Suspension? Both? Let me know what you think with some feedback.

Battle of the Undefeated Teams (aka Manning vs Brees)

As everybody knows the Giants, Saints, Broncos, Colts, and Vikings are the only undefeated teams left in the NFL. But this week the list will get shorter with the Giants taking on the Saints. Arguably the best teams and QBs going at it this week in Eli Manning and Drew Brees, but lets take a look at which teams they have beaten so far this season.

Giants
1. Redskins (they lost to the lions.)
2. Cowboys (Secondary very weak)
3. Buccaneers(Embarrassing to watch, they don't have a QB)
4. Chiefs (may be the worst team in the NFL, other then the Rams ofcourse)
5. Raiders (No QB, No RB, No WRs, No Defense...enough said)

Saints
1. Lions (0-16 in previous season)
2. Eagles(Good team, Saints able to put up 40+)
3. Bills ( looked for real after that game against the patriots, but not here)
4. Jets (Most impressive win vs the Jets and their ferocious D.)
5. Bye

The Giants don't have one impressive win through 5 games, but did have one nail biter vs the cowboys on a last second field goal by giants kicker Lawrence Tynes to lock up a win for the Giants. Now for the Saints, the Lions, and Bills were cake walk victories for them. The most important win and what proved to me why the Saints are for real, was the victory over the undefeated(at the time) New York Jets. Based off these wins this season I'm going to have to go with the New Orleans Saints, simply because the Giants have not proved they are for real by not beating a good team. The biggest thing for the Saints was having a bye week, so they have been able to prepare for the Giants for the past two weeks, which will be the Key to the victory for Drew Brees and company.
